TMZ today looks at how Jayde Nicole wound up pictured on an escort card in Vegas (the kind that offers girls direct to your room).  The card gives another name for the model.  Jayde Nicole, of course, will not be coming to your room.  And if you look at those photos on the cards and think that is the actual roster of workers for a Vegas escort agency then you are….To be overly generous, escorting  has a lot of turnover and it would be hard to create a catalog of the current workforce that made it back from the printer without being dated.

Once a porn star friend, Caroline Pierce, and I were on the Strip when we saw Caroline’s face on the cover of a catalog facing out from a newspaper box. Again, there was another name given for her. She was not surprised. She told me the photo in question was taken from a DVD cover and  a lot of escort agencies just use porn star photos. She did not own the rights to the photo, and so the escort agency may well have had permission to use the photo. She had no idea. She grabbed the catalog and identified as many actresses and centerfolds and famous models as she could recognize to make her point.

So, who is the woman who actually comes to your room?

Blogger Vegas Courtesan is one of those people.  In fact, she sent out this Tweet of wisdom from the field while working last last night:

“Note to bachelors: Dont plan your party on the same floor as your future wife’s bachelorette party. That was almost a disaster”

The Vegas courtesan’s blog contains adult material. Interestingly, very little of  the mature content is in her writing. She offer advice for customers and a straightforward look at her business. But the anonymous author delights in erotic photos, all self-portraits, that leave only her face (in some ingenious ways) to the imagination.
