Here is the advertisement introducing the new Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Authority campaign for Las Vegas as Camp Vegas. I found this via VegasTripping.com where the campaign is judged lame. I don’t have an opinion on Camp Vegas, yet; visually the advertisement does a good job of selling the look of how Vegas now mixes clubs and pools.
One thing I do notice or rather fail to notice: CityCenter. At best CityCenter gets an if-you-blink-you-missed-it appearance. And, honestly I must have blinked and missed it. Isn’t CityCenter supposed to be a tourist magnate drawing people here by virtue of being so big and so new and so big and so new while being big and new?
Imagine any other camp launching an advertising campaign that does not mention new $8 billion (and whatever the courts determine) dorm facilities?
