Andy Rooney: A bitter old man, being bitter

Hipster Andy follows up his scathing commentary, “Who is Lady Gaga?“, by continuing this crusade from relevance by attacking casino gambling with such brutal denunciations as pointing out the odds are in favor of the house! Oh, you knew that? Rooney pounds: “Who is best for this country? A machinist at an auto plant in Detroit or a blackjack dealer?”  Yes, outside entertainment, gambling –like painting, movies, music, poetry and watching Andy Rooney on television–does not produce anything tangibly useful. Oh, you knew that already, too. Well, did you know Andy Rooney was still alive? I didn’t.

I misread the title as Mickey Rooney at first. Now that would’ve been weird. He’s also in the “wow, they’re still alive?” camp.
