This is not a magician to give money from your wallet for a trick.  It might really vanish.

It is a sad spectacle to kick someone when they are down.  I am not proud to be doing so. But you get the truth and rumors confirmed at bad moments. That’s life, as Mr. Sinatra sang. And, Steve Wyrick has truly earned the treatment he is receiving from local media by being exposed now that the facts that he worked so hard to keep hidden have emerged.

Sadly, the facts have emerged too late to help those who rented his space in his showroom only to watch their money vanish with their show business dreams. The truth is too late as well to help those who Wyrick, by his own  accounting, owes more than $54 million.

In Mike Weatherford’s examination yesterday of the Wyrick bankruptcy, he notes a number I missed from the $54 Million man: “U.S. Bank checking account: $45.99.” The bankruptcy was obliviously filed before Wrick deposited his allowance from mom.
