I know you are not too surprised by that move, Richard. Your reporting has been factual regarding BeLIEve. And the shenanigans and borderline criminality that always seems to follow closely with Criss Angel.
I have noticed that Criss Angel, ever since he has been in Las Vegas, sure loves to keep track of people he perceives as his enemies. And disregard his friends and fans. One thing for sure: From all indications, he probably won’t never run out of people who he thinks are his enemies.
Because Criss Angle spends more time on his image, his mystique, a pseudo bad boy personality image while at the same time creating some mysteriousness about himself. The purpose for that is so that he can appeal to only a very small select fan base. Because he knows they will back him up at every turn. So, he must continue with a portrait of himself. Even down to the wardrobe he continually has to don.
All of the above MUST be followed to the letter. Because it hides his lack of talent.
Here it is, now two years after his show started at the Luxor, and still customers are howling and complaining they are ripped off by BeLIEve and the hack that headlines it.
This still continues even after what was labeled as “fixation” of the show. But we now know that “fixation” had another meaning. Not anything to do with re-molding the show.
Criss Angel is an embarassment to entertainment here in Las Vegas.
Because all indications demonstrate that the show Criss Angel BeLIEve goes downhill nightly every time he steps on the stage and opens his mouth.
If people don’t believe me, I’d invite them to look up reviews on different websites.
Or ask anyone that works along Las Vegas Boulevard that have talked to tourists who had the misfortune to pay to see it.
They all scream his show is absolutely horrible.
And it is pretty much a given fact that it’s hopeless the show will improve at all. Cirque du Soleil is mired down in a contract and hopelessly stuck with him.
Did you see his house? Man can’t be doing to bad.

Criss is on top of the world now. He so deserves it. His 10 year live show, his awards, his girl Sandra living with him and marriage soon and that beautiful home of his.

worry not. I will be writing about it. But I went as part of a bigger story which has to be finished first. You know, even if the show is now great, I would not be ashamed because the show that opened and that I reviewed was staggering in its ineptness. Also, many of the suggestions from my review are part of the new show–not that Criss Angel thanked me. Most of all: I want there to be lots of great shows in Vegas. But I will write about it. He “took” many of the suggestions I made as well and never thanked me either Richard, so dont feel bad. What I dont get is Maestro (the boring, stupid, annoying cirque clown in believe) now almost SHARES Criss’ billing – WTF? Dont even mention his fans, they dont care about magic, they just want to sleep with the guy, they buy tickets to his show so they can show up half-naked just to ‘flirt’ with him in the front rows (and from what I have seen on twitter, they are ALL bottomfeeders). Cant wait for your review.

Because I know you have an incredibly horrible job to report the truth.
And please don’t misunderstand me. I’m not trying to influence you about Criss Angel BeLIEve. But all indications show nothing but a foregone conclusion.
Two days ago, I checked tripadvisor.com. Regarding Criss Angel BeLIEve at the Luxor, there are a total of 449 reviews. And these reviews only rate that show 2 stars. Out of 5. Page after page after page of bad reviews. Ranking this show way below average. After two full years.
Then you look at yelp.com. As of two days ago, there are 223 reviews. You guessed it. Only 2 stars. Out of 5. And this has been CONSTANT for over two years now (although they delete old posts….but the consensus is always the same…horrible). Don’t matter if it’s “fixation” or not. Constant. After two years.
No matter which way you cut it…THE SHOW SUCKS! The people who are the ultimate reviewers have chimed in.
The show is an embarassment to valid entertainers that strive, and work very, very hard, to present the best shows they can on the world famous Las Vegas Strip.
But, that’s okay. You got brain dead loyal fans of Criss Angel that are pretty much card carrying members of the Flat Earth Society. They won’t listen to what I’m typing. And they will jump up and down and scream that this show is great. Because their vision is clouded by some kind of charismatic personality. Because that’s all Criss Angel has. He’s not a magician. He’s a hack. And he proves he’s a hack nightly here in Las Vegas.
I just hope the average tourist is not taken in by this incredible B.S.
I pray to God that tourists that are contemplating going to Criss Angel BeLIEve that they pay attention to me. And mostly, they pay attention to reviews on the internet. Reviews from people who are the same as they are. Just spectators who are howling they were ripped off.
Because they all say the same thing. This show sucks. It has sucked before. It sucks now. And it is pretty much a guarantee, even after Cirque du Soleil has said stupid phrases like this thing has gone through “fixations,” it’s better, swear to God, cross my fingers, look at the bright lights, look at the billboards, look at the advertisements, and don’t look at the reality of what the hell is going on, no matter how you look at it, it still doth major sucketh stilleth.
Not sure how much more clear I can make it, but tourists? Please pay attention to me. Don’t waste your money on this show. You would be better off putting it all on red and betting on one spin in roulette in the casino of your choice.
If you don’t believe me? If you think I have an ulterior motive? I swear you will end up regretting it. Because I don’t have an ulterior motive at all. I just want to make sure that casinos on the World Famous Las Vegas Strip provide quality entertainment. And that they don’t make all the others look bad. Believe me. This show is beyond bad. It’s not even average. And it is beyond a guarantee you will waste money on Criss Angel….giving him money…lining his pockets…with money he REALLY, REALLY does not deserve.
Don’t let the brain dead followers of Criss Angel lead you to think otherwise.

I apologize in advance, Richard, this is off text from the subject you are posting about, but it kind of has something to do with it.
I have noticed something.
Whenever I make a comment relating to the topic at hand (or anyone does)…especially about Criss Angel’s BeLIEve show totally and completely sucking and is a rip off for tourists…there is this virtual flood of comments that immediately comes out.
And these comments are not an effort to refute what I am saying.
They are meant to hide my comments.
They are from brain dead Loyals, shills, people who have a vested interested in this show, possibly people from Cirque du Soleil and/or from Criss Angel’s inner camp itself.
The only and ultimate purpose for these responses are to make sure that my comment to warn tourists about this incredibly bad show…disappear from the front page.
They know if they keep posting that eventually my comments (or anyone else’s that disparage that show) will eventually drop out from the right section of your front page.
Their way of thinking is that…out of sight…out of mind.
After so many comments happen, older comments disappear on the right side of your front page.
And I have noticed this has happened not once, not twice, not three times, not four times, but virtually EVERY time my helpful and factual comments are posted.
I just hope others see this also.
And please don’t paint me as someone who is paranoid.
Because I’m not.
I just notice the trend. And I don’t like this stupid and feeble effort to silence and disregard me.
There are many people on the web who post on sites that relate that Criss Angel BeLIEve is a total waste of money.
The Criss Angel camp does not try to fix the problems. They only fight whoever calls them out for their idiocy. And Criss Angel’s continual lack of talent.
But I take heart from the fact that there are many, many workers on the Strip who listen to tourists who have attended this show and were completely unsatisfied. And these people tell others (who ask) not to go to this show. Because it is a guaranteed fact they will be ripped off.
It don’t matter what kind of stupid tactics are used, and no matter how much flowery advertisements are thrown out there, and no matter how many Loyals, paid shills and Criss Angel so called afficionados are out there, there is a simple truth.
And that truth is…this show will suck money out of people and give nothing in return.

IN some review titled “who do you believe”,they said Criss calls for a young boy who looks “about 14″, and then makes sexual remarks and has Crimson-(his real life same-sex desire persona) give him a lap dance. can anyone confirm this?.

I’m waiting for the review too Richard, especially since he has added his new cycle illusion (which is probably done with an audience plant). He keeps boasting about his “100% ticket sell out” every night but if you book your package through Southwest, you get 2 free tickets to any MGM show, OR I see the tickets flyers being handed out in Luxor for BOGOs or 40% off tickets. Maybe this is the reason why the show is selling? Because at regular prices, his tickets are too high priced for what his show offers?
I’ve heard the rumors too about certain Loyals who are chosen by Maestro to “offer their services” offstage (especially if you are 18+, have huge boobs and no morals & would love to just sleep with ANY celebrity), so is Maestro his midget pimp? Things I keep hearing about this guy are sickening. He is 43 but acts like he’s 18 (think about it Loyals, in 7 years he will be 50 – older than some of your dads!) Whenever I have seen the show, there are these really sleazy kids dressing likes prostitutes, trying to get his attention in the audience for their “moment”, taking attention from the actual show that the rest of the audience has paid to see. So, BELIEVE me these Loyals are NOT there to see his magic, on twitter they discuss his ‘velvet pants’, zippers, size of his stuff, etc. Yeah, real interested in his magic!

I have been reading your posting and you seem to know alot. Tell me to you know anything about the Mary_believe chick. WOW the girl seems like a really deranged girl. I have been reading her posting and what she writes to Criss. The chick is out of her mind. Mind you she is a married lady and comes on to Criss like he would can. She is aware he is happy and engaged to Sandra and yet she still send him pictures of herself like he gives a crap.
I hope his staff is aware of her. Sick people like her are scary.

My wife and I just saw the Believe Show and the only thing that I cannot believe is that I wasted my money on this show. He spent more time begging for applause and acting like a 12 year old than trying to perform some of the illusions he did on his past show. I felt like I was watching someone voted off of America’s Got Talent and not the Criss Angel of past in Mindfreak. Take it from me – DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY like we did. Criss asked asked the end of the show for people to tweet him. I think I am going to tweet him and ask for a refund. He is a sell out and needs to go back to his roots and not showing baby pictures of himself getting potty trained (I am dead serious). Total waste of time & money. Go see Abstenthe (?) at Caesars – now that was a great show.
